Recover the writing desk after an error

How to do it

   Copy the PocketAuthor support reference shown on the error screen; it identifies the failure without including your manuscript.

   Choose Try again once. If the same screen returns, open Studio in a new tab instead of repeatedly reloading the failed page.

   Open the same book and chapter from Recent books. The editor restores its latest account-backed version and checks for a newer browser recovery copy.

   If a recovery comparison appears, preserve both versions until you have reviewed the changed passages. Do not clear browser data first.

   Create a named snapshot after recovery, then download a manuscript backup before continuing a large revision.

   When contacting support, include the reference, approximate time, device, browser, book route, and the action immediately before the error. Never send the full manuscript unless you intentionally choose to share it.
