PocketAuthor policy
Publishing & product compliance
A practical map of PocketAuthor controls and the decisions that remain with each author or publisher.

Privacy and account controls
Google is the supported application sign-in method. Authentication does not itself grant Gmail or Drive access. Connected-source permissions require a separate authorization. Account export and deletion workflows are provided in product settings.
Security practices
The product uses authenticated sessions, row-level database access rules, scoped service credentials and protected server routes. No security program eliminates every risk; suspected vulnerabilities should be reported privately to [email protected].
Publishing readiness
PocketAuthor can help check metadata, trim, margins, bleed, image resolution, font embedding and required front or back matter. Printer and distributor templates remain authoritative. Authors must review physical or digital proofs before release.
Rights and identifiers
Authors and publishers remain responsible for permissions, contributor agreements, ISBN ownership, edition identity, territorial rights, category accuracy, pricing, taxes and retailer disclosures.
Accessibility
Product accessibility work is described in our Accessibility Statement. Ebook accessibility also depends on manuscript structure, alternative text, reading order, language metadata and the final distributor conversion.
AI-assisted functionality
AI-assisted features are not represented as active unless they are available in the product. When enabled, provider, data handling, review and disclosure obligations will be documented. Authors remain responsible for reviewing output and satisfying marketplace rules.
No certification claim
This page describes a working compliance framework. It does not claim a certification, audit result or universal compliance with every publishing marketplace or jurisdiction.
